Following today’s announcement regarding Canary Wharf, we also wanted to share a further update on London Royal Docks.
Behind the scenes, work has continued steadily as we prepare for our return to the docks this summer.
We continue to work closely with the team at Good Hotel, who will be supporting our next phase of operations at London Royal Docks. We’re incredibly excited about this partnership and what it will bring for the venue and our community.
We’ve also met on site with the Pontoon and Dock team to progress plans for the new layout and infrastructure. New pontoon configurations are currently being worked through, with the aim of creating a setup that feels familiar, safe and operationally strong for swimmers.
At this stage, we expect the swim route to remain very similar to what many of you will already know from previous seasons.
There’s still work to do before we can reopen, but progress is being made.
We are currently working towards a late June reopening and hope to confirm a launch date as soon as final preparations are complete.
We know many of you are eager to get back into the water at Royal Docks, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.
Thank you again for your patience, support and encouragement over recent months.
