London Royal Docks Update - 2nd April, 2026

Modified on Thu, 2 Apr at 10:33 AM

We wanted to share a further update with our community as work continues behind the scenes.

Over the past month, the team has been focused on cleaning, sorting and salvaging as much equipment as possible following the recovery operation. There is still more to do, but we are making steady progress.

A huge thank you to Royal Docks Waterways (formerly RoDMA) for providing us with space to dry and organise all of the recovered kit. This support has made a significant difference. We are also extremely grateful for their help in sharing some of the substantial costs involved in the salvage operation, particularly lifting heavy equipment from the dock.

Looking ahead, we are now working closely with the Good Hotel, where we plan to operate from in the near term. There is still important work to be done to bring in the necessary infrastructure and finalise operational plans, but things are moving in the right direction.

We are currently targeting a June reopening, and we’re hopeful this will be achievable and we’ll confirm as soon as everything is in place.

We’ve also been incredibly encouraged by the number of people who have reached out offering support. We’ll be sharing more information soon on how you can get involved and help support the venue as we rebuild.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and continued support. We can’t wait to get you back in the water.
