LRD UPDATE – FRIDAY 8TH AUGUST - 1730

The latest test (from the afternoon of 7th August) shows blue-green algae at 22,650 cells per millilitre, which is just above the threshold for moderate risk (20,000-100,000 cells/ml). This is at the very low end of the moderate scale.

According to our guidelines, swim sessions can proceed at this level. In line with best practice, our team will carry out visual inspections of the water each morning prior to sessions to check for any signs of visible algal scum.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow all recommended safety protocols. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for your patience and understanding during the closure.
