How do I collect my NOWCA wristband?

NOWCA wristbands are not posted out.  They must be collected at a NOWCA network venue. As soon as you have completed NOWCA registration and paid your membership, the band is available for collection.


When you set up your NOWCA account via ACTiO you chose your Band Pickup Venue.  You should choose the location where you intend to swim or your 'home' venue. 


If you are no longer able to collect your band at the selected venue (for instance, if you are visiting another site for your first swim), you can collect it any NOWCA venue during their opening hours.  Simply book a swim via ACTiO.


If you have created your account via NOWCA Wild, and now wish to swim at a network venue, book your swim via the ACTiO app and collect your wristband when you arrive. You do not need to update your account in any way to change your band collection venue.


Each venue has a large supply of wristbands onsite.  Your wristband is only linked to your account the first time you swim. You will need to give the venue the email address associated with your NOWCA account to collect a wristband. 

If you have forgotten where you selected as your venue, you can still collect the wristband at the venue you are attending for your swim. 


NOWCA bands are 'for life'.  If you were member in the past and let your membership lapse, you can continue using the same wristband once you have made payment for a new membership period.  If you've lost your band then any venue can replace this at a nominal cost.
