How do I create a NOWCA account and pay for membership?

Membership Overview

• Membership costs £20 per year
• Your membership starts from the date of payment
• Membership gives you access to book and swim at any venue in the NOWCA network
• Each venue offers its own activities, events and sets prices for these.

Using the ACTiO app

ACTiO is used for

• Creating a NOWCA account
• Paying for membership
• Booking activities and events
• Managing your membership subscription

You can download ACTiO from the App Store, Google Play or use the desktop version on your computer

Step 1: Create your account

1. Open ACTiO (or use the desktop version)
2. When prompted, select NOWCA.ORG as your organization (this only happens the first time)
3. Tap Create a Profile
4. Use your email address as your username (to ensure it is unique)
5. Select your Band Pickup Venue
   • Bands are collected in person, not posted
   • If you can't collect your chosen venue, you can pick up a band at any venue in the NOWCA network during opening times.  You will need to provide your NOWCA registered email address to collect your band.  MORE INFO
6. Complete the form, making sure your emergency contact details are correct and you have listed any key medical information

Step 2: Pay Your Membership fee

• Once you are logged in, select Pay Membership Fee
• Payment is validated by our payment provider (Stripe) and is set up as an annual subscription
• You can manage / cancel your subscription within the app (Profile > Settings > Manage Membership)

Parents / Guardians > If you're not swimming, choose Create Parent Profile - MORE INFO

Forgot your password > Use Forgotten Password at login 

Forgot your band pickup venue > You can collect your band at ANY venue in the NOWCA Network - MORE INFO

App issues? > Update ACTiO to the latest version 

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Venue opening hours:  Always check before purchasing a membership - some venues are not open year round

NOWCA's role: 

• NOWCA provides the booking, venue management, and safety system 
• Individual venues manage their own activities and events
